Well it rained hard all weekend and got very windy and warm, and despite all the new snow at the beginning of the storm by Sunday evening we had lost all our snow. Nora Stuey and I drove up to the pass late Sunday afternoon and checked. But then at the end of the storm Sunday night it turned back to snow, and pasted the mountain with white.
I took the doggies up and basically went for a cross country ski. Dry powder pasted onto everything. It was very white. Unfortunately we lost pretty much all the old snow so there is no good base for downhill skiing. It is all bumps and rocks again. But I'm happy - at least there is snow. I think I'll take the doggies cross country skiing again this evening.
