Out and About on Afognak

Bear skull that I found near Graveyard Point

This is the last Afognak post from my sister and Josie's visit a week and a half ago.  I do have a couple more posts about our bear viewing trip to the mainland.  But these are the last photos from Lipsett Point.  Rather than writing a lot of narrative, I'll keep it short and let the pictures do the talking.

We had spectacular weather and spent a lot of time on the beach.  We lit a 'hot dog' fire everyday for lunch.  We also spent a lot of time on the water.  One day we hiked through the old village abandoned after the 1964 earthquake to Graveyard Point.
