Anyway on Saturday I had very high hopes for a powder day. Friday evening it was so deep that my dogs could not move, and I was pulling people out of the ditch with my jeep. But it was not to be. I went up Saturday morning with Ryan and found that there had been a temperature inversion and that all the powder had turned to slush. Oh well. It was still pretty good skiing.
And getting the base wet is good because then it does not blow away. All the snow we now have on high is not going anywhere.
