New Snow on the Lawn

 

These pictures are all from yesterday.  It snowed in the morning and then by afternoon it was sunny.  By evening the only snow left in my yard was in the places that stayed in the shade all day.  Trees and objects would have a 'snow shadow', and the sun would slowly eat up the snow in the shadow as it rotated across the sky. This time of year it is hard to escape the sun.

Then after work I took the dogs skiing and got to use my brand new skis. I do not get new skis very often.  My new skis are Voile Endeavors, and I quite liked how they skied.
