Moonlight at dawn

 

Yesterday morning I noticed that there was a full moon overhead.  So I grabbed my camera and left a little early for work.  I know from past experience that the moon would be setting over town if viewed from the bridge.  And it was!

I tried and failed to get this photo for years.  I'd get to the bridge and the moon would have just set - or it would be cloudy.  And then last year I finally got it (click here).  And then I did this year too!  I just looked back and I think my photos from last year might be better (last year we had snow in town).  So maybe I'll try again this morning!
