As usual at Lipsett Point we had a teepee with a wood stove for a cook tent. We actually slept in another tent with a floor. Most of the time in camp was spent either around the wood stove in the teepee or a fire on the beach. And we did a lot of reading and eating. Camp food on the wood stove and brats on the beach fires. It was like a picnic that went on for 5 days.
For beach fires we had 2 choices - one faces northeast and the other south. We called the former sunrise beach because it is sunnier early in the day and the south facing beach we called sunset beach. Mostly we went to which ever beach had less wind. On this trip that meant most of our time was spent on sunrise beach.
