I just got back from a quick hunting trip with my friend Mike. Last year we went to Shuyak Island. This year we decided to try a lake in the sub alpine. It was a beautiful place with a lot of beavers (more on this in a later post). We got to do a lot of hiking in the alpine and achieved the goal of the trip. We returned to town with deer meat. More to come in subsequent posts - for this one I'll let the pictures do the talking.
