Maine Arrival

Dinner on the night of arrival (after we woke Stuey up!)

After 24 hours of airports and mask induced hypoxia we finally arrived in Boston on Saturday morning and immediately drove to Maine.  We actually arrived at Granny Cocoa's house before noon.  That's a pretty quick trip!

The first day was all about sleep and time adjustment.  And we were all feeling pretty scummy from all the travel and lack of sleep until we went for a swim at Polly's house on the lake.  We paddle boarded over to some ledges and jumped off the cliffs.  Then it was nap time.  I think Stuey slept for around 4 hours sprawled out on a coach.  Nora and I went on a walk out Beauchamp Point.  Nora loves looking at all the Maine houses.

The last couple of days we've been enjoying the mainland (fodder for another post) and today we picked up Stuey's friend Marcel at the Portland airport. Tomorrow we are off to North Haven - an island off the coast of Maine.  More to come.
