Spotlit doggies

 

These pictures are from Tuesday.  It snowed and rained Tuesday morning and cleared off in the afternoon just as I climbed the mountain with the dogs.  The sunlight was very dramatic and spotlit the doggies against the departing bad weather.  

The snow was also still soft and too deep off the packed trail for the dogs.  So on the ski down I had to follow the beaten in track so that the doggies would not posthole chasing me down.  At one point, on the way up, Brewster chased a rabbit off of the trail and got bogged down in the snow.  After that they stuck close to me and the packed trail!
