Some ones that got away

 

Here are some pictures from before the elk hunt that I never got around to posting on the blog.  Since the elk hunt most of the trees and bushes have lost their leaves. We've had a few frosts but my garden is still doing great.  I am still have not harvested the carrots, and I have at least a bucket of them still in the ground.  I also still have lettuce and kale.

Yesterday it was raining but driving out the road I could see snow on the mountain tops.  Pretty soon we will get enough snow for my first ski of the year - fingers crossed.
