Ice, Rain, and Sunshine in the fog

The top few pictures here are from Saturday - the last day we saw the sunshine. Since then it has been in the 40s and rained almost 5 inches.  I fear that we have lost ALL our snow.  Even high up on the mountain.

This year we got snow and skiing in mid November, but we really haven't gotten any new snow since then.  The rest of November was clear and cold - great for ice but not so great for skiing.  Then once we got back from Arizona it turned wet and warm.  At least when it was warm and wet the snow for skiing was soft. But we have also been steadily losing snow.

But the weather should change soon - it always does!

These ones are from a couple of days after we got back from Arizona.  Stuey and I went for an after school ski in the rain.  The sun sets so early these days that we hiked down in the dark.

These pictures are from the day before we left for Arizona.  It was icy, and it stayed that way the whole time we were away.
