It's getting to be near the end of August. The kids start school next week, and in the mountains the hills are starting to turn yellow. But here in town it is still very much green, and the lawn still needs to be mowed every week. The fireweed is blooming and the raspberries are ripe. I can't wait for Fall and then my favorite time of the year Winter. It will not be long!
