Inversion

Yesterday the sun came out.

After work I thought about going mountain biking because I knew the ski conditions would be icy.  But in the end I decided to go skiing.  How could I resist the call of the mountains?  Sunshine and snow!  So I climbed up Pyramid Mountain in the sunshine, and did regret my decision even when I found that the ski conditions were bumpy, boilerplate ice.

There was also a bit of a temperature inversion going on - so there was fog down low and sunshine on high.  Layers of fog for the sunlight to rake through.  It was quite the show.
