After a relatively warm snap we are finally getting a taste of winter. It's been cold and there is finally snow at sea level. Even snow on the roads in town. Best of all I no longer need to climb a mountain to get my snow fix. I even noticed that there is skate skiing on the lake at Abercrombie, and yesterday evening I regretted not bringing skate skis when I walked across the lake with the dogs.
