Stuey celebrated his 10th birthday on Wednesday. Double digits dude! I gave him a football and ammo for his slingshot. The ammo (ball bearings) was the big hit, but tonight we did toss the football about the lawn before it got dark.
This evening Nora and I got Stuey a cheesecake birthday cake at Safeway, and after dinner we lit the candles and sang him 'Happy Birthday'. Stuey counted the candles and declared, 'hey dad, I must be 13'. Quiet celebration, BIG birthday. 10 years old WOW! Patrick

ReplyDeleteI just figured out that Zoya must have been a few months pregnant when we went canoeing down the Ayakulik. And then Tessa was a few months pregnant when Stuey was born as my eldest (Erin) was born in July.
