Boogie Boarding!

Boogie Boarding was an unexpected discovery at the Tulemar Hotel's private beach. We went down there expecting to swim in the ocean and maybe hangout in lounge chairs.  Instead we discovered the boogie board scene.

The boogie boards were there for the taking and at first we sort of just floated around on them.  But at the other end of the beach where the waves were bigger there was a crowd of people using them to surf.  And so we joined the scene.  Stuey and Nora loved it!  Stuey met Motis and his dad who would get them started on waves with a sort of aircraft carrier move.  He'd grab the tips of their boards and then throw himself backwards to give Stuey and Motis the necessary momentum to catch the wave (see photos below).

Stuey liked boogie boarding so much that he decided he wanted to learn how to surf.  And this he did at the next hotel (post to come).  Patrick
