Some snow at sea level - Finally! Yesterday we woke up to a white lawn, and I quickly took the kids to the golf course for some sledding and cross country skiing. I want to go quick because I had heard it was going to turn to rain. So we went to the golf course and played for an hour or 2 and quit just as it was turning to rain. It is kind of amazing how little snow is enough snow on the short grass of the golf course.
By mid afternoon it was raining pretty hard when I took the dogs for their walk, but it never did get too warm and it even froze last night. so I am hopeful that there is better skiing on the mountains. Better skiing than there was on Saturday anyway! Patrick
