In the last few days it has finally gotten cold. The lake at Abercrombie State Park is even beginning to freeze up. I like it when it is cold because it tends to be brighter and sunnier. And best of all the dog's bellies do not get all grimed gray with road dirt. All is frozen and hard. And the air crisp. On my evening hikes with the clear skies the sunset seems to linger a little longer.
