For the last week we have been on vacation in Maine. Maine is my 'hometime' and Nora and Stuey have spent a lot of time getting to know their cousins. It seems practically everybody up is some sort of cousin or longtime friend. I was constantly amazing myself by knowing who owns what house etc. Of course most of my local knowledge is a quarter century out of date.
Maine is also a GREAT place for summer vacations. We spent most of our time on North Haven - an island in Penobscot Bay. Lots of swimming, picnics, boats, paddle boards, and, of course, always incredible views. Maine is a beautiful place!
I took a lot of photos and this is just the first blog post of many. More to come!
