So far December on Kodiak has been pretty stormy.  We did get a little snow but it did not stick around.  I even went skiing a few times - twice on Pyramid and once skate skiing on a lake.  Needless to say, but the conditions were pretty desperate.

On Sunday I embraced the storm and hiked out Termination Point with the dogs in a full on gale.  Out on the end of the point I felt like Micky Mouse in the Sorcerer's Apprentice.  The storm was way beyond anything I could control.  I just faced the wind and appreciated the power of the storm.
