Sherborn

Granny Coco at the stove cooking dinner

We've been back in Alaska from our jaunt out East for a week and I am still writing blog posts about the trip - and even have 2 more to go after this one!  Having a lot of photos and stuff to write about means it was a good trip.  Most extended hunting trips only get 3 or 4 posts.

This year our entire trip was spent at my Uncle George's house in Sherborn, Massachusetts.  For Thanksgivings past we often went all the way to Granny Coco's house in Maine (click here, and here, and here for past posts), but not this year.  This year it was all Sherborn.

The kids love my Uncle George's house - it has 4 floors including a HUGE basement and all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore.  Sort of a mini Hogwarts.  And on Thanksgiving day all the cousins did play a HUGE game of sardines.

But for the most part our time in the house was spent in the kitchen. In the evenings Granny Coco would cook up amazing dinners, and in the morning everyone cooked their own breakfasts.  And every evening their was the dog walk down to the river.  It was a good routine.
