This year Stuey has been steering the boat to windward. He points as close to the wind as he can. Just when the jib starts to luff and before the boat starts to slow down he heads off to get the wind back in the sails. It is a fine line to manage and the trickiest thing to learn about sailing. It gets even more exciting when the wind is gusty and the boat leans way over in the wind!
Our best sail was way out to near the tip of Crabtree Point. At the bottom there are a couple of video clips from the sail.
